About Childrens Hospital Los Angeles

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles has been treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more than a century, and it is acknowledged throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. Childrens Hospital is one of America’s premier teaching hospitals, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932. It is a national leader in pediatric research.

Today, more than ever before, children are surviving cancer and serious blood diseases. The Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles has been pioneering treatments for infants, children and teenagers with cancer and blood diseases for more than five decades. As one of the largest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the United States, we offer our young patients and their families the latest in treatment options, coupled with an interdisciplinary approach and family-centered care. Among our internationally regarded programs are leukemia, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, neuroblastoma, bone and soft tissue tumors, brain tumors, retinoblastoma, hemophilia and sickle cell disease, as well as our pioneering comprehensive program of psychosocial support to patients and their families.
