The NPN Los Angeles 5K

From the Stadium, for the Cure

Join our team and raise money for cancer research at City of Hope and Childrens Hospital LA. Work to fight cancer at hospitals right here in our neighborhood.

You can choose to run or walk the NPN LA 5K on March 20, read below for the great benefits we offer that will help your 5K be fun and successful!

Cancer, the researchers say, is at its “man on the moon” moment. Even if we don’t quite know exactly how we’ll reach victory, we can see victory within reach. Forty years ago, only 3 million Americans were cancer survivors today, it’s more than 12 million! Thirty years ago, about half of the children with cancer were cured; today, the cure rate is 90 percent!

Run or Walk for ThinkCure!

When it comes to fighting cancer, we're all on the same team. Join us by raising money to fight cancer, and you'll do good while also getting some great Marathon benefits!

LA Marathon 5K Runners

Participants who raise $200 will receive:

  • An exclusive ThinkCure t-shirt
  • Entry into the ThinkCure post-race tent at the 5K Run (at the Marathon expo), featuring an organic breakfast and free massages

Participants who raise $500 will receive all of the above, PLUS:

  • An exclusive ThinkCure BPA-free sport water bottle
  • Run the 5K with VIPs, with an Expo Meet & Greet

Participants who raise $1000 will receive all of the above, PLUS:

  • 5K Entry Fee Reimbursement
  • 5K Training Program Reimbursement (we'll set you up with our training partner)

Get Started

1. If you haven't already, sign up for the 5K through the LA Marathon /NPN LA 5K site. Remember to choose "ThinkCure" for the question "Are you running with an Official Charity group?".

2. Set up your fundraising page on FirstGiving and get started sharing your challenge and goals with your friends! This great site lets you add photos, videos and connect with all your friends.
